Ticket Terms and Conditions

 

1. GENERAL TERMS

1.1. The Dunmow Foodie Festival Event (hereinafter referred to as the "Event"), held at Ashfields Carriage and Polo club (hereinafter referred to as the "Venue"), is organized and managed by Unrivalled Events Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the "Organiser"), a company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 15211647 and registered office at 3 Garnet Road, Boreham, Chelmsford, CM3 3GS.

1.2. A valid Event Ticket entitles the holder to attend the Event on the specified dates and times indicated on the Event Ticket.

1.3. Regardless of the type of Event Ticket held, all visitors attending the Event are subject to the General Terms, Entry Conditions, and Refund Terms as outlined herein.

1.4. Unrivalled Events Ltd respects your Personal Data and will handle it in accordance with applicable UK Data Protection legislation.

 

2. ENTRY CONDITIONS

Event Tickets and Admission

2.1. Admission to the Event is strictly conditional upon the presentation of a valid Event Ticket.

2.2. Holders of Event Tickets agree to adhere to these Entry Conditions, as well as any specific terms stated on the Event Ticket and any additional terms communicated by the Organiser.

2.3. It is the responsibility of the Event Ticket holder to verify the accuracy of their Event Ticket(s). The Organiser shall not be liable for any inaccuracies in Event Tickets.

2.4. Last entry to the Event is permitted up to 8pm. Re-entry during the Event is at the discretion of the Organiser, with no guarantee of readmission or pass-outs.

2.5. Event Tickets must not be resold, exchanged, transferred, altered, or defaced. Any such actions will render the Event Ticket(s) void, and individuals in possession of voided tickets may be refused entry or ejected from the Event at the discretion of the Organiser.

2.6. Unrivalled Events Ltd is not liable for lost or stolen Event Tickets.

2.7. All Event Ticket sales are final. Unless otherwise specified in these Ticket Terms or any third-party terms, no refunds, cancellations, or exchanges are available after the purchase of an Event Ticket.

2.8. Event Tickets remain the property of Unrivalled Events Ltd, which reserves the right to recall any Event Ticket at any time.

2.9. Unrivalled Events Ltd reserves the right to refuse admission to any individual without a valid Event Ticket, including those with suspected counterfeit or altered tickets.

 

Proof of Age and Ticket Types

2.10. Proof of age may be required for all Ticket types. Visitors must have a valid photo ID available upon request. Failure to provide adequate ID may result in restrictions on alcohol consumption and/or ejection from the Event if the visitor appears to be under the legal drinking age. Unrivalled Events Ltd operates a 'Challenge 25' policy.

 

Child and Teen Ticket Policy

2.11. By purchasing a Child Ticket (for individuals aged 6-12 years old) or a Teen Ticket (for individuals aged 13-17 years old), the ticket buyer confirms their status as the parent, legal guardian, or nominated guardian ("Responsible Person") of the child or teen.

2.12. Child and Teen Ticket holders must be accompanied by the Responsible Person who purchased their ticket. Entry will be denied to any Child or Teen Ticket holders attempting to enter the Event without their Responsible Person.

2.13. For safety reasons, entry will be denied to any persons attempting to enter the Event with a Child or Teen Ticket holder for whom they are not the parent, legal guardian, or nominated guardian.

2.14. All Responsible Persons must be over 21 years old to supervise individuals aged 12 and under. Those aged between 13 and 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult aged 25 or over.

2.15. Children under 6 years old may attend the Event free of charge but must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 and over holding a valid Event Ticket.

2.16. Child Ticket holders and children under 6 years old must be accompanied at all times by an adult aged 21 and over.

2.17. One Responsible Person aged 21 or over is required for every two individuals aged 17 and under who enter the Event.

 

Event and Venue Rules

2.18. To ensure the security, safety, and comfort of all attendees, Unrivalled Events Ltd has the right to conduct security searches of persons, clothing, bags, and other items upon entry and exit to the Event.

2.19. Unrivalled Events Ltd reserves the right to refuse admission or evict any individual who breaches the Entry Conditions, commits a criminal offense, behaves disorderly, engages in anti-social behaviour, compromises safety or security, or is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

2.20. Unrivalled Events Ltd may refuse alcohol service to any attendee who is unreasonably intoxicated or behaving inappropriately.

2.21. In the event of an emergency, all Event Ticket holders must follow instructions from stewards, staff, and officials.

 

Prohibited Acts and Items

2.22. The following items are prohibited within the Event:

  • Sound systems

  • BBQs

  • Bringing outside food, soft drinks excluding water, and alcohol into the Event, except for medical or accessibility reasons and at the discretion of security

  • Glass bottles

  • Animals (except dogs on a lead)

  • Items that could be considered weapons

  • Illegal substances

  • Nitrous oxide (laughing gas)

  • Drones

  • Unauthorized trading goods

  • Unauthorized tabards or reflective jackets

  • Electric skateboards, scooters, and bicycles

  • Aerosols over 250ml

  • Megaphones

  • Air horns

  • Fireworks, flares, generators

  • Portable laser equipment or pens

  • Blow torches

  • Kites

  • Drums

  • Any item deemed potentially harmful to public safety

  • Unauthorized professional recording equipment

  • Visitors must use provided toilets and must not pollute the land

 

 

Filming and Photography

2.23. CCTV cameras will be in operation across the Venue for security purposes.

2.24. All sound and moving or still picture rights are exclusive to Unrivalled Events Ltd. Material captured by attendees may only be used for personal, non-profit enjoyment.

2.25. By entering the Event, visitors consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for marketing and promotional purposes. Unrivalled Events Ltd may use such material without compensation or credit.

2.26. Commercial use of photographic or filming equipment without prior written consent from Unrivalled Events Ltd is prohibited.

 

Miscellaneous

2.27. Attendance at the Event is at the individual's own risk. Unrivalled Events Ltd and its affiliates are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage suffered by Event Ticket holders, except where prohibited by law.

2.28. Event attendees are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements. Unrivalled Events Ltd is not liable for any associated expenses resulting from Event postponement, cancellation, abandonment, or curtailment.

2.29. These Ticket Terms and Conditions are governed by English law, and attendees submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

2.30. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is deemed illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

2.31. Unrivalled Events Ltd reserves the right to change or amend these Ticket Terms and Conditions at any time.

 

3. REFUND TERMS

3.1. Refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable Terms and Conditions in the event of Event Ticket cancellations or postponements due to governmental or regulatory restrictions related to COVID-19.

3.2. These Refund Terms apply to Event Tickets purchased directly through Unrivalled Events Ltd.

3.3. In the event of Event postponement, Event Tickets will be valid for the rescheduled dates. 

3.4. If the Event is cancelled prior to its opening, full refunds will be issued for the Event.

3.5. Tickets are non-refundable except as stated in these Refund Terms.
